nectarinezzzz + vegan fruit crumble

howdy! Remember how I said i did some fruit picking on Australia Day? Well that is no lie, i am not a liar. We decided to STEW half and DEHYDRATE half.

Here is Josh using his food dehydrator for the first time:

And here are the stewed nectarines on the first leg of their journey! The online instructions all said to leave the skins on, and put a drizzle of water in the bottom and a little sugar for taste.
So i did.
This is them after a while simmering away...

I put them in a container for a few days while deciding what to do with them. Then last night I made a vegan fruit crumble! So here are some strawberries...

Then i added some nectarines and a tin of stewing apples, then placed it in my favourite pie dish and added the vegan CRUMBLE topping.
I think it was something like:
- Rub together 125g plain flour and 125g vegan margarine until they are crumbly.
- Add 75g oats and 125g brown sugar, and 1 tsp cinnamon, aaaand some crushed nuts.
- Mix together and sprinkle on top...

Served with some Vegan Vanilla SO GOOD ice-cream - how could you go wrong??
