things i want to cook

These will prob have to wait until i am better, as when i get home from work now i usually head straight to the couch and whinge for the better part of the night.

But i keep thinking: "When i am better i will make...."
1) ONIGIRI!!!!!!!

These are basically triangles of rice with a decorative strip of seaweed. They are surprisingly fiddly to make though. They even sometimes have fillings inside like fish or some sort of paste. I lived on these suckers as snacks in Japan. They sell a huge variety at every convenience store - which if you have been to japan you will know are EVERYWHERREEEE!!!! I also made these the first time i went to Japan in 2003. I was doing homestay with a family in Osaka and helped to cook one night when we had an overnight stay in a traditional Japanese hut amongst some nice mountain ranges. Fun Fact: It's also where i got my first taste of Sukiyaki. Oh god i love Sukiyaki.

2) Okonomiyaki!!! (Hiroshima Style of course)

If you have been reading my blog you will know how much i love this dish, and how the Melbourne Scene is just not hip enough to make it. I endeavour to cook this sucker soon, now that I know Josh is eating dairy and rarely meat :) yaaay!

3) Baked Saffron rice with Lamb Curry filling :
Terrible photo, but it sounds amazing. I was told about this Persian/Iranian thing, where they cook their rice and then add butter to the pot/rice cooker - then the rice seeps down to the bottom and the bottom layer goes crispy - and its a delicasy to get a bit of the crunchy rice. I started to check out the internet and came across this recipe that is a similar concept.
Basically you make some Saffron Rice, and some lamb curry. You get a round ovenproof bowl and put some rice in the bottom and up the sides, spreading it in a thick layer. Then you put all the curry in the well of rice, filling the bowl almost to the top. Then put more rice ontop of that to cover it. You bake it in the oven and when its ready tip it out upside down on a plate (as pictured above). Then everyone commences to crack the rice with their spoons/forks and the lamb curry comes oozing out like a delicious lamby curry-y filling. im not very clever today with my words. haha.
I shall endeavour to make these things soon, it is an I.O.U to you all. Weee, heehee!

is jade kelly real??

it seems daragh has been having doubts about whether or not i actually exist, and has typed my name into Goggle Images only to find concrete evidence that suggests/prooves/concludes that he is actually insane! Wait, if he is insane it means I am not real. But here i am. i don't know what i am talking about anymore, my cold has gotten hold of me and is squeezing the life and sanity out of me :(

I looked Daragh Quinn up on google images and this is what i found... thats totally not him haha

Korean BBQ (take 3)...gotta be more inventive with my titles

You might remember the first time i went to a Korean BBQ restaurant, though I couldn't remember the name of it. Well i found out the name and went back with Josh and 2 other friends. It is called Woo Ga and is on Victoria Street, North Melbourne.

Actually i have to say I was surprised that Josh wanted to come, as it is not vegan... nor vegetarian. I told him this but he said it was cool, and not to worry my pretty head.. or at least thats what it sounded like in my coconut. I think he just wanted some meat :P

We ordered some beers to start off with. It was kinda funny, we ordered Korean beers but everyone else in the restaurant (who were Korean) ordered VB. hahaha. the veebs. anyway, these beers were alright, the one on the left is called HITE, the other is CASS - the sound of vitality according to the label.

I didn't bother taking pics as we ordered exactly the same as last time - Combo B and a seafood pancake... Here is our table at the end. It may look full, but it was doubly full earlier. There are so many condiments and trays PLUS the grill and the hotpot. yiiikes. omg i want to go back :)

We sat for a while to let the food make it down to our stomachs, as i know i was dangerously close to vomming from over-eating. I was once again in food-coma territory folks. It wasn't fun. Once we were all good again, we went to Nash's house and watched one of the million movies on his Xbox/projector set-up. We settled on an episode of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" (hilarious), followed by an episode of a British show about heroes, then watched "I love you, man!" which was fucking hilarious.

Slappin de bass! Slappin da bass, mon! ok thats enough of that.

dos mexicanos per favor muchacho le vegan

well no i know the title makes no sense and is quite possibly in two languages BUT it does sound cool though right...? that isn't rhetorical, the answer is yes. Anyway last night i was feeling unusually chipper despite having a cold, so i was buzzing around the house doing stuff, then decided to make MEXICAN for dinner! Actually i made 2 vegan dinners.. the other being a lentil dhal which i froze for later consumption - quite possibly for tonights dinner... hmm

anyway back to what i was saying. some jerk sent me a link to a cool food blog called bread and honey which i immediately love, and the lady on the blog was talking about burritos burritos burritos omg she loooves burritos. So of course i started to love burritos a bit too. She also described how to make great mexican rice, which i have never been able to make well before! So i wanted to make that too! Here's what i did.... (again please bear in mind i make most recipes up or change the ones i follow, so measurements for spices and stuff could be a bit off, i am like a magician in the kitchen going POOF with spices and POOF with fire, its quite a show)

Mexican Rice - Vegan Styyyle (serves 4)

- 1 brown onion, finely diced
- half a small green capsicum, finely diced
- half a small red capsicum, finely diced
- 1 tomato, diced finely
- oil
- handful of sweet paprika or even smokey would be good... (just not HOT paprika)
- a few tablespoons cumin (crushed with mortar and pestle)
- Water or stock
- Rice of choice (i chose brown rice as its the best for you)

* Cook the onion in oil, then once it is translucent add the capsicum, tomato and spices.

* Make sure it is all coated well in the spices, and then add the rice (you can judge how much you need) and stir around for a bit

* Add enough water or stock to cover the rice and then boil using the absorbtion method. (As soon as the liquid starts disappearing, add more water, keep doing this until it's done!)
It made enough for both of us, as well as heaps of leftovers for our lunches today. (I just finished eating my leftovers!!) Here is a photo, although it is not great. It tastes better than it looks :)

Mexican Beans a la Vegan

- oil
- 1 small-medium brown onion
- 1-2 cloves garlic, crushed
- handful of green beans, chopped into small bits (optional)
- 1 stalk of celery chopped teeny tiny
- 1 carrot chopped teeny tiny
- 1 (truss) tomato, diced
- half a small red capsicum, diced
- 1 can red kidney beans
- Vegie/Beef stock
- 1-2 Tbsp Tomato Paste
- about 1-2 Tbsp crushed cumin
- about 1-2 Tbsp crushed coriander
- 1 bay leaf (optional)
- some cayenne pepper
- some hot paprika

* Cook the onion in the oil, garlic and spices. Add the carrot, celery, green beans and capsicum. Cook until they begon to soften, and add the bay leaf.

* Add the kidney beans and tomato, stir and cook for a few mins.

* Add the tomato paste and enough stock so it becomes saucy, and slowly simmer for a while until you are satisfied with the taste and texture of the vegies and beans.

Again - the photo does it no justice..

So we just put the beans on wholemeal wraps and topped them with our favourite salad stuffs. I put cheese on, but josh didn't so his was vegan-a-licious. SO YUMMMY

If i defrost the dhal tonight, i will take some good shots, and hopefully i can remember how i made it :s der brain.

internet friends - a homage to DQ

I have one! I have a friend who i would not hesitate to call a friend, although i have never met him. His name is Daragh Quinn, and he is a Leprechaun. Well not really, but he is of Irish descent. The story goes that Daragh is friends with my cousin Bec. They both lived in Adelaide and partied all night and day hoping to become famous party icons and wind up working on Video Hits and then eventually move on to sporadic appearances on "20 to 1" with Bert Newton, in between rehab stints. Unfortunately neither could pluck up the courage to take the red pill that enabled them to reach a new level of party, so they had to part ways in shame. Bec remained in Adelaide while Daragh moved to Perth to persue a career in Engineering, and to follow his lady friend who is a super smart Geologist.

We were first introduced over 1 year ago over work email. Daragh had a habit of inventing bizarre quizzes for his friends, although studies still cannot determine whether he enjoyed making the questions more than actually reading the responses. Bec thought I would flourish in the bizarre quiz scene, so she FWD'd it my way (try to keep up with the email speak). I sent it back to them both to encores and applause (in my mind). Bec kept a copy and sent it to me recently - here is a sample...

Tex’s Questionnaire
A Questionnaire for people who care…
Care to eat some bear if they dare!
Look over there…

Q: If you were a small goat about to be slaughtered for the Passover, what would you like to be served with?

A: I would like to be served with a formal apology for my death and also divorce papers from my goat-wife so that i could become juicy with rage to satisfy my apologetic murderers' palletts. This way i would die with the knowledge that i might just be reincarnated as a mincing machine in which she would be fed through slowly and painfully

Q: How many handshakes can you obtain from obese women while holding a cheeseburger and not get savagely attacked?

A: Probably none. I think if you grabbed one of their hands to shake it, thus inhibiting them from reaching the burger, they would definately strike out. But its ok because after the first hit they would run out of energy and have to catch their breath- giving me enough time to eat the burger right in their red sweaty faces and escape to the nearest subway restaurant (aka safe haven). it's like there is an invisibility forcefield over it.

Q: Back flips are considered dangerous. What other activities do you consider dangerous?

A: Arranging pencils in colour order. My parents say i'm not allowed to do that anymore after what happened last time at school... i'll tell you about it someday - maybe when the trial is over

Q: Do children under the age of 11 collect sea shells for the African military?

A: I'm convinced of this. I have been collecting information on the conspiracy for the past 4 years. We should talk...

If your life flashed before your eyes, would you consider selling it on eBay for $3.40 to buy one last iced coffee?

A: of course... only if it was farmers union though - otherwise....no cigar

Since this time, we three have been sending each other similar things for entertainment purposes. Daragh has quite a collection of comics and strangely edited pictures. I convinced him to make a blog but he hasn't decked it out yet (Hurry up!!)

There was one time when i was meant to meet Daragh in Adelaide but a strange set of circumstances intervened, and the world went right on spinning. He theorises that if we actually meet we will hate each other. He also said he imagines himself to be making pancakes in an apron at the time so who knows... they could be poison pancakes? In my opinion, if we meet, the world will implode because it's just not meant to be. Plus the distance is pretty huge...

CBF City indeed! i don't know why i find it so strange to be friends with someone i have never met IRL (internet speak again, look sharp). Maybe because my mum told me not to talk to strangers..? well i showed her! muahaha. hmm. Maybe there is some kinda Sixth Sense or Fight Club thing going on or something. whatever. when you read this daragh, you know we will have to meet, the world is in suspense! can't leave them hanging after all. slappin da bass, slappin da bass!

saturday op-shop fix

On Saturday morning my brother and I went to 3 local op-shops. It was a great day to op-shop, made even greater by the appearance of a Beetlejuice-esque dining suite at St. Vinnies. It was black plastic and had tall thin backed chairs. I should have taken a photo as my lame description does it no justice - DAMN!

Anywhoooo, I picked up heaps of good stuff! 2 large photo frames (working on a project), a geanie lamp, a wooden chest... and these:

$2.99 vintage scales. "OMG!" you say?? Well I share your enthusiasm. I need to give them a clean and some TLC of course, but i think they are beautiful! I normally lick things to mark my territory, but i held off this time because of the whole feet thing. The best part is that i was actually in the market for scales at the time and couldn't justify spending anything over $10. WINNER WINNER WINNER!

NLP - Neuro-linguistic Programming

Yes, I do feel rather smart for attending a Neuro-linguistic Programming master class last night. In actual fact, then term "master class" had me trembling in my squishy boots because i knew no more about NLP than what the acronym actually stands for. If you were to ask me what Neuro-linguistic Programming meant I couldn't have told you. Actually I still don't totally know, as it was not a beginners class and there were no explanations offered on the fundamentals of the "discipline" that is NLP. So I just took what i could from it which was interesting enough.

Josh and his friend Avery are both really interested in it, and Josh wants to incorporate some NLP into his classroom when he becomes a Primary School teacher. So when he asked if i wanted to come along and see what they have been talking about for months i thought it was worth a look, plus it meant i can actually participate in the conversations from now on instead of my eyes glazing over with incomprehension. So as I still don't know much about NLP, i will take info from the "Inspiritive" website - they are the organisation who ran the workshop - to enlighten you (and myself hehe)...

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is an incredibly powerful discipline that enables people to unblock the structures of human communication and human excellence. By doing so people can think, communicate and manage themselves, and others, more effectively.

NLP explores the relationships between how we think (neuro), how we communicate (linguistic) and our patterns of behaviour and emotion (programmes).
By studying and learning from these relationships people can effectively transform the way they traditionally think and act, adopting new, far more successful models of human excellence. (This activity is called modelling and is a key feature that distinguishes NLP from psychology).

In effect, NLP is a powerful change management tool that transforms the way people think and act to have the greatest impact both professionally and personally. That’s why NLP is one of the most powerful skills used in business management, psychology, sales, sports coaching and all forms of personal development.

NLP can help you to:
- Be more successful by learning to influence your emotional and psychological states.
- Replace negative behaviors and habits with positive ones.
- Transform the way you go about everyday tasks.
- Be more aware of your impact on others and how to manage your behaviour for optimal results.
- Better understand your own motivations, needs and behaviors and use these positively to have the greatest impact.
- Better understand your staff’s and customer’s needs, motivations and behaviors.
- Improve and enhance your interpersonal communication at the office and at home.
Last night's class focused on "Framing" and "Attention" which sounds like it would be full of jargon and prior knowledge, but I think i picked a good night to attend because it was a pretty basic concept.

They were talking about the conscious and subconscious mind which they refer to as 1st attention and 2nd attention respectively. There is also a 3rd attention which is kind of like you have the intention to notice something. eg. when you buy a particular model of car, you will all of a sudden start noticing every other car the same as yours. or if you have a new article of clothing you will notice other people wearing it.

They were also talking about high performance states, where in a time of competition or performance you stop focusing on what you are doing and just DO it. It can relate to so many different things in your life. For example, when you are performing music on stage you know in your subconscious mind that you KNOW the music, and when you start playing you just go into auto pilot and let your subconscious take over. The same goes for speeches, and sports performances and even just driving a car. The first time you get in a car you are overwhelmed by how much you have to look at and rememember and do, but after time you just do it without realising.

So to practice getting into our high performance states, we did this game / exercise which i suppose was called the Alphabet Game. Basically around the room were big posters that looked like this:

I think it is meant to be more clustered together but i couldnt find an example so this is what it looks like according to me. Anyway we had to partner up with a stranger for the task (totally daunting but as i never am forced to interact with strangers it was pretty awesome to see how i behaved. Basically one person does the activity while the other coaches them. The person doing the activity has to stand in front of the poster reading out the alphabet "A, B, C, D..." but when they say each letter, they have to follow the instructions underneath the letter. "L" means raise your left arm, "R" means raise your right arm, and "T" means raise both together. So it kiiiinda looks like you are saluting Hitler a lot but it is a great activity. You have to NOT consciously think about what you are doing and just let your unconscious mind take over. The coach has to stop you if you make a mistake or if your arms aren't straight or if you fumble or if you don't keep time. that mens you have to start again. it gets so frustrating because when you are told you are wrong you get conscius of what you are reading and it becomes harder.

Then the next step was to use your legs too, when it sayd "L" you raise your left arm but also your opposite leg. For "T" you put both arms out and squat. It is hard at first but you need to get comfortable and into a good headspace and it's easy! I found a picture of a man doing it, but for some reason putting his other arm in the air...? anyway i looked just like this:
My partner Ivan told me that i was more comfortable raising my right arm/left leg, whereas my left arm/right leg always hesitated a bit. I figured this had something to do with the fact that i am right-handed and subcosciously i am confident using my right arm and not my left. When it was Ivan's turn i noticed the opposite - that his left arm/right leg was always swift and confident. I asked if he was left handed and he said no which shot down my theory - but then i remembered it was both arm and leg that we were controlling and i was about to ask about his legs when he said that he used to be a professional sprinter and he always put his right leg forward first when taking off. So subconsciously, and when in a high performance state, he is comfortable putting his right leg forward. I thought that was brilliant. I like discovering things about myself like that, and it often takes another person to educate you on it.

So once we had learned about our high performance states we had to learn to understand them and learn why you make the mistakes and doubt your instincts etc. So we practiced another activity where you close your eyes and throw your keys infront of you some distance, then have to trust your spatial senses and subconscious in order to find them without vision. Josh put his hand up to demonstrate and the guy was tooootally impressed at how good he was for a first-timer. Josh looked pretty chuffed :) Anyway this time i partnered with josh and he coached me into listening to my subconscious. I got my keys a few times but there was so much going on around me that it was hard to focus. The aim is to get them twice. It's really hard.
So from all that i learnt many things. Strangers aren't evil ALL the time, NLP is not terrible, I like learning about my brain and how and why my attention works the way it does, and i am awesome at letting go to my subconscious. There is another master class next month which i might go to. I think the details are on their website: http://www.inspiritive.com.au/ but i am too lazy to look. At least i know that i am too lazy haha.

daragh's lunch-time adventure

Daragh emailed me his lunch time adventure which i thought i should share. he EPIC FAILED to get a photo with the shopkeeper, but the adventure looks nice anyway. Actually i should be honest - at Don Don the japanese chef was wearing an EMINEM t-shirt and i totally wanted to take a photo of him but didnt have the stones to do it *sigh* next time...

I have never been to Perth and i am totally jealous of how delightful the weather looks over there on Australia's West Coast :( Today in Melbourne is 13 degrees CELCIUS yuck. This is what he says about his adventure:

Far beyond the soft sands of Western Australia there is a land that is difficult to find.
It’s called Boart Longyear and can ONLY be found using a street directory.
The signs are nailed to what appear to be trees pulled from hell itself, but yet they mark the spot. Lunchtime starts here, Gibberd rd Balcatta, Perth.

Away I go to the Yummy Tummy- an oasis of shit amongst the tropical palms!
What a day it is, so warm and bright, tropical and nice! I thought it was a day for a relaxing iced tea amongst the palms on the beach… Sitting on the sand with an umbrella? Lifesaver

No preservatives
No artificial colouring
No artificial flavours
No drowning
Enjoy Coca Cola… and the blue coloured ocean in the distance!

Relax on the beach in my swimwear…
Smiles, all smiles
Don’t get lippy with me Mr. Harrington. I will get back to work when I fucken want too…

Back at work... Home cooked amazing curry with a lippy
I’ll staple you

my lunch-time adventure

I didn't have any left overs for lunch today so I had to purchase some. My friend in Perth (note to self: create a blog entry about our unusual friendship) is always emailing through comics and games and stories (oh my!) and challenges in order to keep the day entertaining.

Today we loosely decided on playing a game involving our lunch purchases and photographing them as a competition. In hindsight, I'm not sure it can really be called a competition nor challenge, and makes about as much sense as Silent Hill which i watched last night for the first time (note to self: post about how fucked it is)... but anyway that's what I like about Daragh (that's his name) - nothing has to make sense!

So I dared him to take photo of himself physically purchasing the lunch, if possible to get the shopkeeper in the shot. Do people still use the word shopkeeper? Or is that totally 1800's? Whatever. I didn't really get a dare... i kinda just decided to photographically document my whole lunch adventure. So here it is:

This is the shop I wanted to go to. It is called Don Don and is on Little Lonsdale Street in Melbourne. It only takes about 5 mins to walk there, and they have amazing Japanese food at BARGAIN prices. Their menu is restricted to about 8-10 items, and the prices of those mains are between $6.00 and $8.50. Also they produce your meal before you even zip your wallet up or look for a table. Not even joking it has to be the fastest take-away in melbourne!! Well i forgot to take a photo of the shop so i got these off a food review website :P

My journey begins with me walking up Queen street. Here is my shadow:

My shadow is pretty good, it's more well behaved than that of say... Peter Pan. If i had a shadow like his, i'd stand in the shade so i wouldnt have to deal with it. shadow abortion. Anyway i'm wearing a satchel bag - that is not an enormous ass/thigh or whatever it looks like.
next is a giant..

across from don dons there is this creepy little alleyway which i have never noticed before, so once i picked up my lunch i wandered over for a gander, and saw some cool graffiti...

That done, I walked back swinging my bag of delicious teriyaki chicken don as i whistled away

until i saw this condom on the pavement outside the back door to my office - no sexual inuendo inferred. totally doesnt look used. i should have tasted it to make sure. dont want people wandering around bumping into comdoms (lol) all the live long day. hmm thats an idea for a new cutting edge super hero..

Back at the office to tuck in!

Check out my mad chopstick skills, awww yeah baby.

beetroot

Like any good Aussie, i love a bit o' beetroot. in summer... on a burger, or just on the side of the plate - its bright juices staining everything else pink! I have only ever had tinned beetroot before, but I heard that REAL beetroot is delicious. Unfortunately my parents weren't too adventurous with meals as i grew up so i missed out :(

anyway, so i set out and bought 2 big beetroot planning to roast them. Last night was the night for it, so i created a dish which i think was fucking unreal. i looked at a few ways of cooking the beetroot and some accompaniments and decideded on a gourmet theme. this is what i produced...

*First i quartered the beetroot and tossed it in an oil marinade, then put it in a roasting dish with some blobs of Nuttelex (or butter) on top of each quarter. Cover the dish in foil and bake for about 45 mins at 220c.

*While that's going i made a potato/sweet potato mash and set it aside. I also caramelised some onions in a frypan.

*When the beetroot is ready, the rest is a sinch! Put the mash on the plate for the beetroot to sit on, then arrange the quarters on it so it looks like a split baked potato. I wilted some spinach in a frypan with a drizzle of boiling water then put it ontop of the beetroot, followed by goats cheese, then the caramelised onions.

*I wanted some healthy greens so i put some steamed broccoli and halved brussel sprouts around it, then drizzled those with vegan gravy for a bit of a sauce.

*At the same time as all that i made a roast pumkin soup for dinner tonight MMMMM!!!!

Anyway, back to the beetroot - IT WAS AWESOME! Roast beetroot now is one of my favourite things ever! i will definately not cook a roast without it ever again! Also on another note, my urine has a pink hue to it today! Wonder why...

pickle buddy

I'd like you to meet my new friend, pickle buddy:

He doesn't like photos much... he normally doesn't look this forlorn. I think he was a bit upset that I was going out for a nice Japanese banquet dinner without him. He sometimes gets a little clingy like that. Before i left he was telling me how he was considering growing a side-fringe, and i said it wouldn't really suit him, especially when he's driving in his convertible pickle car and the wind is whipping at his face - oh it would be a right pickle. LOLZIES AS

anyway, yes it's true, i did go out for a japanese banquet, and i nearly vommed from the sheer volume of food i ate. it was a struggle, and yes i did undo my belt and pants in the car on the way home. We went back to Matsumoto and had their $37.00 deluxe banquet, which was more food than i have ever eaten in 1 sitting. It started with miso soup - which they do VERY well. Then a spinach salad, then a sushi and sashimi platter, then gyoza, then oysters, then tempura, then the main course was SUKIYAKIIIIIIIII mmm, and dessert was a fruit platter and green tea ice cream!! all that washed down with some hot green tea.. perfecto~
Anywho, the banquet was GREEEEAAT and i highly recommend. We are planning to visit the korean BBQ place again so some noobs can try it. i have just had some vegan spaghetti for lunch - josh stayed home last night and had that while i writhed around in a sea of meat. it was yummy.. good work josh! so i have to think of what to make for dinner tonight! might have some people around and stuff. woo!

raspberry crush

no, i'm not talking about a deliciously refreshing icy drink, I am talking about the crush i have on Rupert Grint aka Ron Weasley. Am I ashamed? kind of. Am I surprised at myself? Fuck yes. After the years of endless jokes and taunts, I have found myself at age 22 with a teenage crush on none other than a fanta pants, the easiest target for my childish sense of humour. I am also generally surprised to actually have a 'celebrity crush'... as it has been a pretty long time! but look at him... he's got a heath ledger smile going on (dont get me started on heath)...

*sigh* oh my god... i am shocking myself with every word. So anyway I have been reading an excessive amount of Harry Potter lately, I finished the last book a few days ago and saw movie #6 last night! So if anything this crush is just a circumstantial thing, and it is a product of my environment - that which is living and breathing harry potter... Josh's opinion on the matter is simple... "Why don't you marry him then?!". I ask myself the same thing sometimes late at night when i am trying to slip a red wig on the sleeping form of my boyfriend.

anyhow, now that i have aired that dirty laundry, I feel the need to reflect upon my other big celebrity crushes over the years - the ones i can remember anyway. Going back to school days... my memory is hazy, probz all those recreational drugs i was taking that have fried my memory circuits. I remember these faces...

These faces featured a lot in my life in the late 90's. there were more... oh yes many more. i was starting to find myself alarmed at just how many crushes i had at, like... 12 years old or whatever. yikes man. i didnt want to put them all up. Anyway, i find my later taste is scarily all total DILFs... johnny depp, brad pitt, duchovny, cillian murphy (with facial hair or no deal). hmm cant think of more atm.
Wow reading back over this post i sound like a dog on heat, jesus christ. Well... just documenting my thoughts, i'm totally going to regret this post next week. Fuck.
