saturday op-shop fix

On Saturday morning my brother and I went to 3 local op-shops. It was a great day to op-shop, made even greater by the appearance of a Beetlejuice-esque dining suite at St. Vinnies. It was black plastic and had tall thin backed chairs. I should have taken a photo as my lame description does it no justice - DAMN!

Anywhoooo, I picked up heaps of good stuff! 2 large photo frames (working on a project), a geanie lamp, a wooden chest... and these:



$2.99 vintage scales. "OMG!" you say?? Well I share your enthusiasm. I need to give them a clean and some TLC of course, but i think they are beautiful! I normally lick things to mark my territory, but i held off this time because of the whole feet thing. The best part is that i was actually in the market for scales at the time and couldn't justify spending anything over $10. WINNER WINNER WINNER!
